Clara, the most adorable mascot and the most beloved character of our company, has taken to the field with a solidarity action in favour of Uruguayan artisans. For a limited time Clara will wear a heart on one of her paws as a symbol of solidarity to allow the workshops in Uruguay to remain active during the quarantine period.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, the work of spinning, weaving and dyeing garments has been severely affected. Especially because these items were mainly aimed at a tourist public. In this scenario, in Ruralanas we have bet on sensitivity to try to minimise the impact that the paralysis of the economy will have on the Uruguayan rural families that depend on this handicraft activity. Clara La Ovejita Solidaria will be available for sale exclusively through our website while we go through the uncertainty of the pandemic.
